Art is an essential part of human life.Nowdays people do not have any time other than their usual daily work.Due to monotonicity of the work they easily get stressed and that affect their mental and physical health.But art is a solution to all peoblem.We can enjoy art in varities of format in our daily life.In modern days art also need some attention so that its integrity,importance can be maintained.Government funding will do an important role in the development of art.
We are now facing shortage of artists.Main reason is people are not seeing their future as a artist and they are moving away from this field.For example, suppose in college one student is very much interested in arts but due to many reasons like salary,future scope etc. , he will not choose art field and will go for some lucrative job field.Here we san see that we lost one of our young artist.Presently we can also see that many of artist are deprive of basic To prevent this goverment should take some steps.Government can help them financially in different way like scholarship,prizes etc.This way government can encourage them to continue their future as a artist and they will choses art as their main profession.
Due to modernisation and industrial revolution in our society,some of our primitive art is vanishing.For example, in India earlier days people were very much interested in silk art but now a days due to other cheaply available material silk industry is in danger.Silk price are high compare to other material but if government will give subsidy then the price will go down and people will get attracted.In that way government can prevent the silk industry to suffer from loss.Nowdays very less people go for art exhibition , museum etc.By reducing ticket price government can encourage people to come to museum and art gallery.
From above mentioned points i can conclude that government funding of the arts is necessary to ensure that the arts can flourish and be available to all people.It is also the responsibility of government to maintain the art integrity,importance etc.
