Campus Park Closing
Currently, our university maintains a large 5,000 square-foot park in the center of campus. After a great deal of thought and consideration, the administration has decided to close the campus park and construct a new, state-of-the-art science building in its place. This change will be a major benefit to the university. Within this building, new equipment and rooms will be constructed that will allow us to offer more classes to current science majors. Also, since the city has several large, open parks within walking distance from the university campus, the administration believes that students will not be negatively impacted.
