WHY I DO NOT HAVE A SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT

I am an arrogant child! In grade 10 and 11, I was very proud of the activities I participated in as well as the achievements: the best student at the school level, joined a non-profit organization, the leader of a club academic. However, there is a fact that I saw my achievements as a soft mattress that made me fall asleep on victory and neglect my senior year study. That led me to the end of the school year with a fairly low GPA and a fairly good academic performance, I was almost a white-handed and lost compared to other competitors when I applied to the school. I say "almost" because excessive arrogance is a flaw but in it is a few assets that I still hold, that is the progressive nature of an arrogant child. That progression helps me to face my weakness directly and realize that I cannot remain on the spot when others are progressing.

 The first thing I decided to challenge myself was to get an IELTS certificate with the level that the school required and I succeeded after 2 months of seriously reviewing. After I have the IELTS results, I have determined what I need to do right away to be able to compete with other elite students: must grasp every opportunity I have. The opportunity that I mention is this essay.
