In this set of material the topic of “buzzing” is discussed. By definition, buzzing means hiring people by companies to behave as if they were just spontaneously praising a product during normal conversation—the reading state harmful effects of such way of advertising; however, the lecturer add the information related to text about how all mentioned side effects in text are just “stupid”; a buzzer said.
The lecturer claimed that a good buzzer tell the truth about various products. According to him, although they get paid, their advertisements are not the ordinary ones but they give people correct information. This idea from a buzzer confounds by what is written in text; text states that knowing whether a person praising a product is being paid to praise product makes a big difference. According to text: “With buzzing what you hear is just aid advertising, which may well give a person incorrect information”—this rejects the idea said by lecturer.
Moreover, buzzer mentioned “do you believe whatever buzzer say accepted by people? No, they ask so many questions about price, services, and so on. If I as a buzzer do not give them right answers, they will not buy products”. This idea contradicts by what is written in text by saying that “When customers do not know they are being lobbied, they may accept claims they would otherwise be suspicious of”.
Finally, buzzer denies evidence on which trust in human relationships damage by buzzing. He says “If people meet a good buzzer and take advantage of good product, they will trust even more to people”. This completely rejects by text: “worst of all harmful effects buzzing is likely to have on social relationships”—after such way of advertising, general trust will decrease in society.
