The graph below show where people first got their news, both about world and about local events, between 1987 and 1997

The two given line charts represent where people first got their news, both about world and about local events, between 1987 and 1997. Considering the graphs, the most important difference was about the main source.People got the world news from television whereas they got the local news from the newspaper in the same period of time.

As the graph indicates ,the percentage of inhabitant , who choose the television as their main media increased slightly within the years shown , however the percentage of newspaper inhabitants decreased by 16% from 1987 to 1997.

Another points that we can figure out are , first television as second media among local news sources, had lots of fluctuation
and the percentage of inhabitants raised up from 19% to 37% in comparison with newspaper in sources of world news, which lost 5% of its users in those years.second figure is television and newspaper as first media had a sudden fall in 1989. finally just 10% of inhabitants used radio as their main media.

generally speaking, it can be informed that during mentioned decay ,people received news from television and newspaper as main and first media.
