Dear sir/madam,
I am Harry Martin, senior project manager in your prestigious organisation. With due respect, I am writing this letter to request you for eleven days leave from work to attend family function.
This morning, I received letter from my parents, that mention that they have arranged wedding of my younger brother next month. My presence in this occasion is extremely significant. Being an elder son of the family, I have to perform some responsibilities that no one else could do. The wedding date is 15th of June. However, there would be some pre-wedding customs and post wedding events. So, I request you to grant me leaves from 10th June to 20th June. I will be really grateful to you.
I work in collaboration with my on-site colleague Mr. Jack. In the mean time, I will explain him my team-structure and work allocated to my sub-ordinates so that he could manage my team appropriately in my absence. I am sure that he will handle my responsibilities very nicely and would not make my absence realized. His email id is jack145@abc.com and his contact number is 401-4015-401.
Considering my perseverance and past successful project deliveries, I hope you will accept my request and grant me eleven days off from work.
Thanking you,
Your Sincerely
Harry Martin
