The flow chart below explains how laundry is handled. Using information from the flow chart describe the laundry process
The flow chart illustrates the step-by-step process of handling a laundry.
Apparently, there are nine or ten steps involved in handling laundry, and the number of steps depends on the type of fabric that are washed.
First step is when the laundry is collected from the suppliers and it is separated into towels and linens. Next, the separated laundry is loaded into laundry bags, in which it is transported and loaded to the laundry machine. Following that, the washing cycle begins and it takes two hours from start to finish.
When washing cycle ends, water is partially drained from the laundry by pressing. In this stage, towels are dried completely, whereas linens is left half-wet and ironed after. In the last step, both laundry are transported to folding machine.
The entire process is almost similar for the two types of laundry. The only step that differs relates to the level of dryness of the laundered fabric.
