The chart below illustrates the total number of minutes(in billions) of telephone calls in UK,divided into three categories ,from 1995-2002.

The bar chart illustrates how many billions of minutes of telephone calls there were in UK, divided into three types, namely, local, national and international, mobiles, between 1995-2002.

It is clear that the number of minutes of local calls stayed stable despite increasing at first years. It should also be nited that the figures for the national and international, and the mobiles increased dramatically over the given period.

According to the bar chart,in 1995 about 70 billions of minutes calls were made by local line as compared to the national and international and the mobiles at 38 and 3 respectively. In 1999, Each type of the calls increased, with the local lines coming in top. By contrast, after that year local calls started to decrease while the others still increased. Finally, at the end of the period, the number of minutes of local calls reached its original mark. Turning to national and international calls, the number of minutes of calls made in this category, was considerably higher at approximately 60 billions than that for mobiles at about 45. In spite of the fact that the local calls stayed stable, it also came in first at the end of the period.
