In this set of material, article mentions three main method to prevent frog species decreasing, on the other hand, the lecture casts doubt that on information which is presented in the reading section and believes that the information is not convincing enough.

First of all, the the author conteds that restriction on pesticide will stop frog speciees to decline or even extinct. In the contrast the constructor claims that it is neither economical practical or fair to the framer who live near from the frog species. Case farmers need pesticide to decrease crop loss and stay competitive in the market.

In addition, the reading asserts that a skin fungus is another factor that increases the thickness of skin and leads to dehydration. And applying antifungal medication or heat treatment will kill this fungus. However the speaker in the listening refutes this point and posits that it is impossible to aply these two mentioned methods to frogs species. Antifungal medication and heat treatment require to catch each frog individually and it does not stop fungus to their offspring. People have to do it round by round. Therefore, second point in the passage does not hold the water.

Despite the statement in the reading passage that human activities threat frog's habitats, but professor reputes that the real threat of frog habitat is global warming. The research shows global warming contributes to some disappearance of waterland or wetland. Hence the third points is untenable from professor's explanation.
