Unfortunately for birds, these trends are likely to continue, with the result that the number of birds in the United States will necessarily decline.
Both the passage and the author discuss about decreasing the population of birds. The passage holds the opinion that the human activities lead to decreasing the bird’s population and provides three reasons to support its approach.
