The diagram shows how rainwater is collected for the use of drinking water in an Australian town
The diagram depicts the rainwater collecton process in an Australian town for the purpose of drinking. The process consits of several steps which are explained in the following paragraph.
The houses in town has special feature of collecting rain water from the slanting roofs. Water droplets from torrential rain are collected from the roofs of the houses which were then passes through water pipes and reach the underground drainage facility especially created for rainwater. Water from several houses ultimately meet at the water filter where water is filtered through three filters. Then, filtered water moves towards the water storage tank. Next, water from storage is moved to water treatment tank. Treatment tank has the chemicals inlet valve which is added according to the reqiurement. Finally, pure water moves through pipes to the each house having the inlet pipes for drinking water. Drinking water can be collected through their respective water taps installed in houses.
