You are looking for a part-time job.
Write a letter to an employment agency. In your letter:
- introduce yourself
- explain what sort of job you would like
- say what experience and skills you have
Dear Sir,
My name is Tim, I am a Pakistani national from Quebec, and at present, I am studying at Waterloo University to pursue a Master’s degree in the field of computer science.
I am writing to request you to help me find a part-time job, especially something related to computers. I would like to have an afternoon job; this would allow me to complete my studies in the morning. Ideally, a computer programmer job would be much suitable for me, given my experience and studies are both in this field.
I have 05 years of experience in computer programming, especially in java and python. I have designed quite a few websites that do not include the only frontend but also backend configuration. Another strong point where I feel comfortable is the database, and I have done a few projects covering several aspects of the database in the past. I am also attaching my detailed resume, which may provide you an overview of my experience and capabilities.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Tim
