Some people think that getting a degree from university is the best way to guarantee a good job, others believe that it would be better to go straight into work and get experience instead.

Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Topic of debate these days is whether to get a degree from university or get into job straight away after school. According to a number of people the best way to ensure to get a good job is by getting a degree from university, while others believe that its best to get in jobs straight away to get the experience. This essay will discuss why getting a job after school could be an option but why getting a degree is the best option to secure a good job.

Many people think of getting a job straight after the completion of their job instead of going for a degree programme. They do these things because they think that they can explore the field which they have interest in and do the degree programme after that if they feel like. According to a research conducted by Department of Education (DOE) suggests that students change their field of interest after school and they don’t know what to do. This might be the reason for opting to work instead completing their education.

On the other hand, other who thinks that the most safe option for securing a job is to go for a degree programme from university. Although they havent’t explored the field of their interest completely like others who are working in thar field but they want to secure their future by going for further education. For example:- if a student goes for a degree and gains that extra knowledge from that course which other person who went for the job just after the school might not have, the student with the extra knowledge would be preferred and his pay would be much higher.

The biggest question which comes in a student’s mind just after the school is whether to go for a job or for further education. This essay discussed why gaining experience in a particular field can be helpful but why completing education is a better option. In my opinion, it’s better if a student goes for further education rather than going for job because after that extra knowledge he can earn much more than that person who went for job right after school.
