The table below illustrated consumer spending in five different nations on different products in 2002. Overall, it could be seen that food/drink/tobacco and leisure/education were the main sources in Turkey; whereas clothing/footwear was the main source in Italy.
The amount of food/drink/tobacco consumed, which accounted for nearly one-third of the five countries, came from Turkey, at 32.14%. However, the least spending country belonged to Sweden, with only a small portion of 15.77%.
The other categories were much smaller. Clothing/footwear was the second-largest item that customers purchased, with Italy became the most important source for purchasing at 9.00%. Once again, Sweden spent the least in this column, with only 5.40%. As for leisure/education, all 5 countries received the least spending percentages. However, Turkey remained the highest in this section.
