TPO-30 - Integrated Writing Task

The article claims that using an ingenious weapon which called a 'burning mirror' in the war between Romaninan and Greeks is just a myth and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor refutes the article and each of reasnons.

First, the author poses that Greeks, in the past were not technologically professional enough to make this weapon. However, the professor opposes that acient Greek was asdvanced because of meteculous mathematists who designed this device presicely. As a result, she says that mirrors were put along together aurately with a parabolic shape.

Second, the reading claims that, burning thing with a mirror takes a long time, let alone the mega bodies of ships. However, the professor refutes the author and says that in two ways Romanian ships could be burnt just in ten minutes:first, ships were made of wood which is able burn much easier than other materials and second, ships cuould burst into fire in one second because of an sticky material were used in that war.

Third, the article claims that, those days, soldiers could use flaming arrows instead of the patented wepeon. However, the professor says that, although the soldirs were vigor enough in using their acient weapon the power of mirror for destroying the ships were more significant and more effective than flaming arrows
