The table illustrates the average band scores of students from different nationalities who took the General Test in 2010.
From the table, we can see that German language groups remained highest consistently in listening, writing, speaking and overall ratings except for the reading. Followed by the French, who persevered with the same score in writing and overall ratings. However, their reading and listening skills were being matched by the Indonesian.
Looking more closely at the overall results. German stayed on top rank having the score of 6.7. Conceivably, French achieved the second rank and hit the points of 6.5. Next was Malay who earned a score of 6.4. Lastly, the Indonesian with the total score of 6.3.
In conclusion, as seen in the table German group remained the highest achiever for the fact that they held the highest score persistently. On the other hand, the rest of the group follows since they got a none average score in most of the areas of the test as well.
