As mass communication and transport continue to grow, societies are becoming more and more alike leading to a phenomenon known as globalization. Some people fear that globalization will inevitably lead to the total loss of cultural identity.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

These days, development of high technology cause to people communicate with each other easily and moreover the governments from entire world try to invest on telecommunications and go into globalization which lead to governments joining to each other and increasing their trades by this way.

Thanks to developing political changes and technological changes governments can find new channels to communicate with each other easily which would not be of governments did not pay more attention to telecommunication technology.

It is clear that globalization has noticeable impact on societies that involve with and maybe they run into several problems which one of them is loss of cultural identity. Looking more closely to this phenomenon show that there are several big and power developed countries that can influence on developing countries to follow their customs and cultures which lead to little by little different kind of culture that belong to different kinds of countries disappear and powerful culture overcome to other cultures for instance American culture can attract people from all over the world easily.

The younger people try to follow customs that are followed in powerful developed countries which lead to the valuable customs that are practice in their countries disappear as soon as possible.

It is obvious that globalization bring several threats and opportunities that governments must try to manage correctly and reap the benefits of several advantages like advertising their cultures and their historical places which show their cultural identity and attract tourists to their countries through this way.

In contrast, it is undeniable that globalization has several threats like loss of cultural identity that the government must be aware of and try to encourage people to advertise their culture instead of following the other cultures that the big developed countries have.

In conclusion, I think that globalization has both opportunities and threats that governments can not ignore. If the government does not pay more attention to these threats faces to big problems such as loss of cultural identity.
