Main Reason for Migration to from The UK in 2007

These two pie charts describe the reason for migration to/from The United Kingdom in 2007 shown in percentage.

Two of the main reasons for people to come to The UK were definite job and formal study, consisting of, respectively, 30% and 26% of immigrants. The other two reasons, accompany/join someone and looking for work, shared relatively small portions – 15% accompanying and 12% looking for work. Meanwhile, the other 17% had no particular reason of coming to the kingdom.

Furthermore, it was obvious that job opportunities offered in The UK were as much as that of outside the country proven by the relatively balanced percentage between the people emigrated and immigrated. However, only a small number of The UK residents went out from the country to pursue an academic degree, 4% of all, because it is known that universities in The UK has good enough qualities to teach the countries’ own youth. Moreover, 13% of people emigrated from The UK to accompany/join someone and the other 32 % had indefinite reason to leave the country, one of which might be for a long holiday.
