In this report I am going to describe a table which reveals the consumer durables owned in Britain from 1972 to 1983. There are substantial ways people owned things for their daily basic use.
As it is evident from the table, about 40% of central heating and telephones were owned by Britain's in 1972 whereas other things were owned at high percentage from about 60% to 90% percent roughly. In 1974 central heating and telephones had a percentage of 43% and50% respectively. But in 1993,this percentage aroused to 64% and 77% respectively. Video and dishwashers were not liked in Britain. On the other hand, vaccum cleaner, refrigerator and washing machine were used on a large scale. The owning percentage of these three machines were always on the top.
From what has been depicted In this report, we may reasonably arrive at the conclusionn that, overall, the household goods mentioned in the table have considerable variations over a period of eleven years.
