Nevertheless, this situation changed gradually over the next 25 years. The proportion of consumption of Hamburger rose sharply from 5 times in 1975 to 100 times in 1995 and remained this ratio up to 2000. Pizza went up to the highest top at 85 times per year and overtook the consumption of Fish and chips which fell down consistently and finished at under 40 times per year.
