Forecast increase in world oil production
The graph gives past, present, and future data about world oil production among OPEC Middle East, Other OPEC, and non-OPEC Countries. The figures indicate that oil production in OPEC middle eastern countries is predicted to increase considerably while in Non-OPEC countries will fall down.
Between 1980 and 2000, oil production is dominated by Non-OPEC countries. Of 11 million barrels a day, OPEC Middle eastern countries only make two barrels a day. One decade next, in 2000-2010, half of world oil come from the Middle East Countries, one-forth from other OPEC countries, and the other from non-OPEC countries.
Although forecasters predict that world oil supply will be steady, they think that in 2010 until 2020, most world oil will be produced in OPEC Middle eastern countries. In this time interval, OPEC and non OPEC countries will just provide two million barrels a day. This number is far lower than their oil in years before.
