You are currently running a course and have a part-time job. Your boss suggested that you leave your course and work full time. Write a letter to your boss.
In the letter, you should:
tell him/her your decision
explain the reason for your decision.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter with reference to the advice provided by you to work as a full-time employee. First of all thanks for the offer, and I really appreciate the suggestion as I was having a same thought running in my mind since last few days.
As you are aware that I am also providing lectures to some economically backward students in an Non Profit Organization. I had a discussion with them on this subject. After a thorough discussion with the council and considering pros and cons of this offer, I have decided to follow the ongoing process of continuing the course and continue to work at the college on fixed term basis.
The main reason behind this decision is my passion of teaching. I want to dedicate my knowledge of the subject to the students who belong to economically backward section of the society, as a result every one can avail this free facility. There are several students who rely on my course for their final semester exams. Hence I consider pursuing parallelly.
Once again thanks for your offer, but I regret to take in this place. I hope it will not affect my part-time career in your organization.
Yours faithfully,
Musa
