TPO 40 integrated essay
The lecturer talks about possibility of establishing a permanent station on venus. he opposes the reasons which are explained in the article as the conditions make venus inappropriate to live.
First of all, according to the lecture, atmospheric pressure on venus is equal to the earth. that's how the lecturer refuses the first reason given in the article.
Second, both reading and lecture notice that there is a little amount od oxygen and water there, but it is mentioned in the lecture, in contrast to the article that it can be possible to produce oxygen and water by chemical process. Therefore, second condition which makes venus unlikely to live is rejected by the claim of the lecturer.
Finally, solar power cells includes both reflected sunlight which caused by clouds and the sunlights which reach the planet's surface. The lecturer points out that this incident can make using of solar power cells possible. it's because that these clouds aren't thick based on the speaker, and he disapproves with the third condition said by author in this way.
