DInosaurs are endotherms.
The lecture discusses that the dinosaurs are not endotherms. To support this the professor had provides three different evidences about the dinosaurs, these evidences have directly contradicted the points stated in the passage that the dinosaurs are endotherms.
Firstly, the lecture said that even though the fossils are found in polar regions, when the temperature is high in polar regions the endotherm can't live there and when the temperature is cold enough the dinosaurs migrate to other regions. This opposes the ideas in the passage which says that the animals who keep up the temperature of their body can live in a cold climate.
Secondly, the lecture showed that the legs that are beneath the body of dinosaurs are to support the weight of the dinosaurs, and because of this place of legs they can grow to a large size. On the other hand, the passage stated that the animal whose legs are beneath the body has a function of running.
Thirdly, according to the lecture, the bone structure of the dinosaurs has growth rings that are responsible for the growth of the dinosaurs, also the growth rings are evidence that during the cooler period the growth of the dinosaurs is stopped or is slow down. Therefore, the characteristic that the growth increases and then slow down and again increases rapidly is not the characteristics of the endotherm. However, the passage said that because the bone structure of dinosaurs has Haversian Canals the dinosaurs grow quickly.
Thus we can conclude that although the passage says that dinosaurs are endotherm on the basis of three evidences, the lecture shows how it has opposite evidence against that.
