Dear Sir/Madam,
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter with reference to the news article in Hindustan Times dated 24th September stating that your department is deciding to close the sports and leisure centre in our society. I would like to express my views on the necessity of having the sports centre and benefits it provides to the people of our community.
I along with my family and friends spend most of our time after office hours in the leisure centre. We spend our quality time paying many indoor and outdoor sports, for instance table tennis, cricket, badminton and so on. After all it not only relieves us from the daily stress but also helps us to keep physically and mentally fit and healthy.
The sports and leisure centre is of utmost importance for each member and every member to our society because of its formation it has brought innumerable benefit for the older as well as for the younger generation. It is beneficial for the older generation but also provides many benefits to the younger generation also. They by playing sports will be able to keep physically and psychologically healthy. Moreover, it will also help to develop sporting spirit among the young generation and help them to excel in the field of sports in future.
If the sports and leisure centre will be closed it will have a negative impact on the people of the society. Without physical exercise they will suffer with many health issues like obesity. Furthermore, Children will spend most of their time playing video games and watching television which will affect their eyesight.
I hope that you will take my views into consideration and will take the decision that will benefit the people of our society.
Yours faithfully
Prabhpreet Kaur
