The given diagrams provide a visual aid in understanding the stages that are incorporated in cement production and thereafter concrete from it.

The primary materials used in the production of cement are limestone and clay. Those are crushed into powdered form with the help of crushers. The powder is then fed into a mixer to mix them well and then passes on to a rotating heater. Constant heat is supplied to the it. The mixed powder comes out of it which is then ground by a grinder and the resultant of which is then packaged in bags.

Now the concrete production uses water, cement, sand and gravel in the proportions of 10, 15, 25, 50 percent respectively. Apparently gravel and sand are the major components of concrete; but cement and water are equally crucial for binding of the former materials. Thereafter all of the ingredients are mixed using concrete mixer. The resultant concrete can then be used for construction purposes.
