The graph compares the difficulties people have when they move to new country according to people’s ages.
Overall, people often have three main problems about making friends, finding accommodation and learning the language. The percentage of oldest people over-55-year-olds have more difficulties in studying new language, while other problems become easier than other people.
In terms of new languages, around 30% of the 18-34-year-olds people feel difficult, however there is more a half of the older over 55 years old and just over 35% of 35-54-year-olds.
In contrast, the greatest problem in the younger aged 18-34 is about finding friends with just over 45%, while only around 20% of the over 55 people and nearly 35% of the 35-54-year-olds have the same problem.
On the one hand, both the 18-34-year-olds and the 35-54-year-olds have trouble finding accommodation with just under 40%, and the percentage of the oldest over 55 years old had the same problem decline to over 20%.
