Recently you had a holiday overseas and you stay with a family member who has sent you a letter and some photos of your holiday. Write a letter to your family member
-thanks for the photos and for the holiday
-explain why you did not send a letter
-invite your family member to come and stay with you.
Dear John,
I hope you're doing well. I've just received your letter along with a few photos that were clicked during my trip with you in Toronto. I'm very thankful to you to make this trip wonderful by showing me spectacular places, and for the hospitality that I got from you and other family members. Also, I was engrossed into past memories by watching these amazing photos and selfies.
Please accept my apologies for not contacting you earlier. Actually, after coming back, I got involved in the business project that I mention to you when we went to eat out at 'The Grill' restaurant. But now I'm fully free, so without wasting any time, I'm replying to you.
In the upcoming month, due to the off-season in my business, I'd have plenty of time, thus, why don't you plan to visit India? In fact, I have a spare bedroom at my home that would be suitable for your stay. Please let me know about your plans.
Eagerly waiting for your reply.
Your cousin,
Dheeraj
