one town who rode bicycles in 2011.
The table displays the percentage of bicyclist in terms of age group in a particular town in the year 2011.
In general, what stands out is that more women rode bicycles than men with the exception of the age group of 18 to 39. In addition, those aged between 0 and 9 had the highest proportion of bicyclists while the reverse was true for those of 40 to 59 years old.
over half of the 0 to 9-year-old group was bicyclists, with the figures for women and men were 52% and 51% respectively. Meanwhile, women using bicyclists accounted for 42% of the population of the next age group, whereas that of men made up just roughly a half of such figure. By contrast, female cyclists only constituted 17% of those aged from 18 to 39, which was 3% lower compared to their male counterparts.
As for the remaining age groups, which were group of citizens aged from 40 to 59 and group of citizens over 60, the figures registered under 20% for women and under 15% for men.
