Overall, it can clearly bee seen that figure for newly enrolled students increased sharply between 1958 and 2008. Another striking feature is despite having half of the enrolled students from 30 miles from Bristol, this number fell markedly for last two periods.
The greater increase in number of newly enrolled students was between 1958 and 2008. While in 1958 1,046 students were enrolled there, in 2008 there was as five time as many newly students enrolled (6,377).
In terms of percentage of local students enrolled from 30 miles of Bristol, in 1928 the highest proportion of students were enrolled (50%), though this figure has dropped sharply to 14% and 1-2 for 1958 and 2008.
In 1958 proportion of females enrolled for Bristol was 32% while it was 46% in 2008 for males.
