The given bar chart provides the information about the annual frequencies by which travellers visited three most important airports in New York city over a period of 5 years, from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, both LaGuardia’s and Newark’s airports experienced an upward trend throughout the period. The number of Newark’s visitors showed a fluctuating behaviour. La Guardia’s airport initially was the first airport for the number of visiting travellers and further, this was confirmed in 2000 when it far outraced the other two airports.
In 1995 the number of passengers visiting LaGuardia’s airport was about 35 million, being higher than both john.F.Kennedy’s and Newark’s ones respectively, by approximately 10 and 20 million. Then it continued to rose slightly up to 50 million in 1999 and hitting the maximum point of about just below 70 million one year later.
Newark’s visitors were just about 25 million in 1995 and they slightly rose in number up to 1998, when they outraced John F.Kennedy’s visitors by about 6%. Then the figure remained steady up to the end of the period.
John F.Kennedy’s figure started at about 25% in 1995 and steeply rose, reaching approximately 48 million in 1997, when it experienced its maximum popularity. Then it continued to decrease up to 1999 and a last steady increase bought it to reach more than 40 millions of visitors in 2000.
