The given layout plans illustrate the changes to Colwick Arts Centre between 2005 and today.
It can be seen that there are many changes during the period, including new buildings and recreation facilities.
First, there were two galleries located in the right side of the area with two separate buildings, whereas now the concert hall is there as it was expanded. The Gallery was moved towards the left of the Art Centre. The concert hall and cinema building was demolished; however, in their place the authorities placed a central exhibition area and also constructed two additional building next to each other for a cinema and a drama studio. What is more, the meeting room was relocated to the left of the drama studio as two separate small rooms instead of one large.
When it comes to places for general purposes, the information desk was remained the same location. In addition to that Wasteland area was developed a new recreation area with a stage, trees and outdoor exhibition and performance area. Finally, the toilet was moved to the right side of the area, and it was also decreased in size.
