An English-speaking friend has written to you to ask you how your IELTS studies are going.
Write a letter telling your friend how you are preparing for the test.
In your letter:
• say what progress you are making
• explain how you are preparing for the test
• say which section you are finding the most difficult
Dear Rini,
How are you? Hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter in response to your letter asking me about my IELTS preparation.
It is difficult to manage study and job together but I have decided to settle in Canada but I need to give IELTS exam hence, I initiated my study and joined evening classes. The starting was quite disappointing but with practice, I crossed many milestones.
The academy I joined use to arrange mock tests every Saturdays hence, I always make sure that I should appear in it. Apart from this, I have joined online tutorial classes and paid for online tests so that I can utilize my Sundays by doing the study.
I am trying my best in all the modules and attaining the desired bands but still, I am facing problems in the writing section. I took guidance from my tutor she told me sometimes it takes time. If you have a kind of opinion please do write to me.
Warm Regards,
Jot
