Great countries are made by leaders and not the resources
A great country is lead by a good leader. A good leader is not the person who does things right, but the person who finds the right things to do. Any country should have a leader who leads his country effectively by making use of resources available within. A leader's action should inspire people to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Indeed education is the first step to build any great country. Educated, hardworking, dedicated people reflects the country’s economic, social growth.
Firstly, Japan is a country with best and capable leader with less resources. After the disaster of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japanese reconstructed their country rapidly with great effort and dedication. Even though the scarcity of resources abort their enthusiasm towards the growth, they did not renounce. Leaders had inspired people to educate themselves and by handwork they made Japan to establish its position with great respect worldwide. So that the Nation is constructed by the leader not by resources.
Furthermore Iran and Iraq are the twin countries having resources in large quantity, the leaders are not able to make it happen. These countries are still under the control of United States Of America. The lack of efficient leadership made the people and the country to lay down under other nation authority. Lack of sufficient education and the leadership quality decline the country’s economic growth and hence it defeated by the stronger nation.
Countries having abandon resources may not able to establish themselves elegantly. African countries are blessed with loads of natural resources but not the leaders. Even though the country posses a lot of resources, leaders of Africa failed to bring their country from economical, political and social ascent. Hence the growth of the country is suppressed by poverty, unemployment, homelessness and so on. Therefore a country needs a efficient leader rather than resources.
And Many other counties like India, SriLanka, Pakistan is rich in natural resources and has a diverse economy based on agriculture, mining, fishing, manufacturing and so on. Here the leaders must be able to lead the country by making use of natural resources to make their country as a developed nation.
Hence any great country is made by its most capable and best leader who adores his nation and his people. Resources alone cannot make any country to be successful. Indeed it needs a capable rider to its chariot.
