This essay will argue why spending a massive amount of funds to preventive health care services is completely necessary to the society.

The government has been managing the disbursement of funds to various departments and groups for many years and has also provided a high-scale budget to the medical sector particularly treatment services. They believe that improving the health care system will ameliorate the poor condition of the patients. For example, any client with critical condition admitted in a hospital will be saved because of the developing medical services and researches such as radiotherapy, parenteral therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and chemotherapy. These therapies have been saving lives and have benefited several citizens.

However, there will be a fall in the morbidity rate if the huge allocation went to health prevention. Early detection of several diseases is preventable. With proper education, people who have awareness of a certain disease would manifest improvement from their health and obtain a higher rate of survival. For example, vaccinations for newborns were invented since communicable diseases had been disturbing the world resulting in a pandemic crisis. Its effects which made the citizens vulnerable before had threatened the safety of people from invisible enemies. Also, invasive surgeries including mastectomy and total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salphingo-oophorectomy are options to prevent breast, ovarian, and cervical cancer or perhaps minor operation like appendectomy that prevents rupture of the inflamed appendix.
