Generally, while Finland enjoyed an upward trend, the other country, on the other hand, fluctuated but its tendency is downward
To be specific, as can be seen in from the given chart, the divorce rates in Finland was on an increase during the period shown. Although suffering from a slight diminish by roughly 5 per cent in the beginning year, the divorce rates in Finland dramatically shot up to a record high of over 40 per cent in 2014. However, the biggest percentage that can be recorded was in the subsequent year.
On the other hand, regarding the number of unmarried couples in Sweden, it has shown a completely different picture. Used to be outnumbered Finland in 2011 by the ratio of 45 to 35, the divorce frequency in the country of Sweden quickly rocketed to its peak of approximately 50% in the following year. From then on, the figure fell back again and hit the bottom at below 40 per cent in the last researched year
