The bar graph depicts the proportion of Australian men and women at a variety of ages perform sport regularly during 2010.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is clear that more females did physical activities than men in all ages. Plus, the highest figure of women was seen in 45 to 54-year-old group while the percentage of male involvement at the age from 15 to 24 years old was the highest data of this gender in the term.
Giving a cursory glance on this period, it is explicitly observed that in 15 to 24 age group, the proportion of male who joined activities including energetic requirement was 52,8% and the ratio of women was noticeably lower than male at 47,7%. Then, with the figure of 39,5%, the participation of men saw a small drop at various ages from 35 to 40 years old while the other surged at exactly 52,5% and it was 3% more than the percentage of female.
It can also be seen from the graph that there was an increase in tendency of the proportion, shown a fact which male performed exercise daily rather than female between the ages of 45 and over. Whereas, the percentage of female doing physical activities reached a peak at 53,3%, ranging in age from 45 to 54. In the last age group, female exercised more than male but did not make up many people significantly, with the proportion of male and female were 46,7% and 47,1%, respectively.
