The line graph illustrates the total number of students who completed university separated by genders over the period of 15 years in Canada.
Overall, the number of total university graduates showed a upward trend. However, in comparison to female graduates male graduates started and end up lower in quantity.
Looking to the data in details, the sum up of total university graduates approximated over 250,000 in final year, which was about 170,000 at the beginning.
Given to a closer look at individual gender data, the female started their journey from just below 100,00 at the beginning in 1992, steadily increased to 105,000 in 1995. This figure, after that slopped for a while before climbing up to the peak of below 150,000 in 2007. On the other hand, male graduates were almost 30,000 lower in number than their counterpart at the start of the period. Throughout the duration, the number fluctuated for a while and finally reached to the level of 95,000 in 2007.
