Essay showing the process by which carbonated drinks are made (also called a diagram essay).
The given diagram details the step by step procedure showing how carbonated drinks are produced and packed before sending to a supermarket.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the entire process undergoes five stages starting with filtering raw water, to pass through the carbonation plant, mixing with different colors and flavors, followed by packaging of the resulted product and ends with the shipping procedure.
According to the given illustration, first of all, the raw water is passed into a filter plant, where it gets treated in the presence of chemicals and water softeners. Then the cleaned water is pumped out in a heating chamber connected to the electric heaters. From here, the heated water is moved through the cooling pipe so as to expose it with carbon dioxide gas.
In the further stages, the carbon treated water produced in the last stage is transferred to a mixing tank via an outlet pipe. Later, this water is exposed to three different inlets: coloring, syrup, and flavor. Once mixed thoroughly, the process enters the next stage of filtering and filling. At this stage, the carbon drinks are stored in a variety of bottles and cans. After that, in the end, the packaged drinks are transported to the supermarkets to be used by customers.
