King Primary School’s recent fundraising event.
The given pie chart provides a general view of the fundraising event, during which the major contribution came from the students of 1st grade and the least contribution to the total amount raised came from the students of 3rd grade.
Although the students of 1st grade have the upper hand in this fundraising event they are followed up by student of 2nd grade, with a difference of less than 3% of the total fund raised. They are subsequently followed by 5th,6th,4th and lastly 3rd grade students.
Among the many events organized by the students, dancing bagged the audience's attention and also their wallets! The book sale was not as fruitful as the other events were, a plausible reason could be that the demographic of the locality near King Primary school may not be interested in books for may even not have the time to spend on them, whereas events such as dancing events are known to be less time consuming to mere few hours at max, which also does not test the patience of the audience unlike books which require attention, effort and time.
Students of 4th grade and 5th grade decided to sell products such as art and cookies respectively. It appears that students who sold cookies were more successful in their endeavor than those selling paintings or drawings.Despite both grades raising a good amount , it is important to note that cookies seemed to be trending than art was which could infer that either students of 5th grade made excellent cookies that gathered more attention or it is also probable that the demographic prefer something edible like cookies, rather than something abstract such as art.
