Your local hospital has advertised for people to do unpaid work helping at the hospital. You would like to do some work at the hospital in your free time.
Write a letter to the hospital. In your letter
• explain why you would like to do unpaid work at the hospital
• say what type of unpaid work you would be able to do
• give details of when you would be available for this work
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Sunny Mehta and I am writing this letter with respect to the advertisement you have published in 'Times Now' newspaper for an unpaid job at your hospital.
To begin with, I just immigrated to Canada a few days back and looking for a job. However, I do not know anyone here and that's why got board at home alone. Perhaps, I am a software developer in my home country and so that I would be the better option for you to be the software analyst post as mentioned in your advertisement.
Moreover, I am free most of time at home and applying for the jobs online. Nonetheless, due to recent pandemic, employment is hard to find. As a result, rather being board at home, I thought to join you until I get some paid job. I will be available from Monday to Friday and if you are interested in hiring me then you may inform me via call on 9876543210 or else you may email me through a@a.com.
Looking forward for your positive reply.
Yours faithfully,
Sunny Mehta
