More and more people want to buy famous brands of clothes, cars and other
items. What are the reasons? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?
In recent years, an increasing number of people want to buy well-known designer labels of many consumer products. While there are some obvious reasons for this trend, I believe that it is a totally negative development.
The reason for the growing purchaser concern with brand stuff is simple to explain. Firstly, the marketing campaigns of large corporations aspire to identify their products with a glamorous and successful lifestyle, and people are easily swayed by advertisements. Companies often invite the celebrity endorsement to encourage customers to trust and buy their goods, with famous stars such as C. Ronaldo, Taylor Swift... Secondly, a large part of buyers desire to demonstrate their wealth and vogue, by using the latest high end items. As a result, the thought behind owning a brand name is to make others jealous.
Nevertheless, this tendency could have negative consequences both on family life and on society. In view if the purchasing of people who have an overhead income is encouraged by consuming companies to squander their savings on designer labels. Consequently, modern citizens are often more attentive to their appearance than one's inner value. From the perspective of society in general, the bad habits of younger is a disturbingly problem. Realistically, most young people's spending money come from their parents, so keep up with the expensive brand are sheer waste of time and money.
In conclusion, there are some obvious reasons why more and more citizens spend huge money in brand stuff. However, it could be negative influences on families and the community.
