The line graph highlights divinations about how many learners will learn three different main languages of the entire world in millions, namely English, Spanish and Mandarin, over a decade from 2020 till 2030.
Generally, what stands out from the graph is that there will be upward trends in the number of learners of all languages. However, students who will learn Mandarin will start with the lowest result, it will be the second world language after English. The language of English will start with the second position, yet it will take the lowest rate at the end of the period.
Let's start by looking at the details, it is estimated that the number of English learners will reach aproximately to 550 millions and there will be a steady rise to 700 millions at 2024. After that, it will go down and recover between over 600 and 700 millions in turn, it will the highest rate at under 750 millions of students.
The number of students who learn Spanish and Mandarin are likely to rise over the entire period. When Mandarin will have reached to 100 millions by 2020, Spanish will be learned by just over 200 millions of the languages will be popular at the same rate (300 millions), after which it is believed that they will change their positions, and Spanish wil become the third most learned language after Mandarin, with over 500 and about 600 millions of students respectively.
