overall, what stands out is that, while heating accounted for the majority of energy consumption, water heating is the main producer of greenhouse gas. In addition, cooling and lighting represent the smallest portions in terms of energy consumption and gas emissions.

Apparently, heating is the main consumer, using 42% of the total energy. This is followed by water heating at 30%. Another interesting part is that, while cooling, lighting, and refrigeration account for 2%, 4%, and 7% respectively, they are combined consume almost the same as other appliances which are 15% of the total figure.

Regarding how much gas was released due to this energy use, although heating was the main consumer of energy, it only accounts for 15% of emissions. Water heating is the main source of greenhouse gas, just over the third of the total amount, at 32%. Moreover, the emissions from refrigeration and lighting are double their consumption rate, at 14% and 8% respectively. A similar trend is spotted in other appliances, at 28%.
