A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the unpaid work. In your letter:
Explain why you want to do voluntary work at the museum.
Describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful.
Give details of when you would be available for work.
Dear Sir,
I am writing in connection with a recent article published in the newspaper for part-time unpaid work in the museum.
I think it would be the great opportunity for me to join this museum since it would assist me in completing my college project on history and culture. Besides this, it will also provide me with the skills which would help me to secure job in the future.
I have vast knowledge to full fill the needs with this position therefore, I can work as client manager and a museum guide. I am good at computer and communication skills. Apart from this, I have worked in many arts, history and cultural events during my college.
I would be available for 4 hours a day and for particular schedule I can adjust my timings according to work timetable. I hope you will consider my application and allow me to work for your prestigious museum. For further information you can contact me through email.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely,
Ravinder singh
