The two given charts show the data relating to in-house courses in a large financial corporation.
As per the pie chart which illustrates the training hours per year in the mentioned courses, half of the total spent time of the training is dedicated to the technical area with 30 hours practising a week. Career development is the next area which accounts for a quarter of the total training time (about 15 hours per year), after that, interpersonal skill, health and safety respectively cost 10 and 5 hours per year in the training courses.
Turning to the second chart where the manager’s and secretary’s attitude toward the courses is surveyed. According to this chart, most of them believe that these courses are essential for their job with nearly 78-83% voted. A slight proportion of manager thinks that it is a good excuse for a change (63-65%), following with a similar pattern of attitude can be seen in case of net working’s usefulness (42% and 50%). Finally, a dramatically minor proportion of trainees’ attitude said that the courses are a waste of valuable time.
Overall, it is obvious that the financial company needs its employees to excel in technical and their career enhancement and most of the trainees find it worthy.
