In contrast, the electricity generated from renewable increased slightly by 4.5% in Germany as compared to France. conventional thermal had been produced power energy 59.6% 10.3% in Germany and France respectively.
Further scrutinizing the graph, the least amount of energy had been generated by solar energy in both countries, However, the highest amount of power energy was generated by hydroelectric in France more 80% whereas it was the second last popular in Germany with 17.7%. As well as biomass had noticed 5 fold rise in Germany as compared to France in the given period of time. In addition, the second biggest share at about a third for Germany by wind 36% and only 10.1% was contributed by same in France.
Overall, nuclear and hydroelectric were the biggest sources which generate electricity in the France and conventional thermal and biomass were considered as a first priority in Germany.
