Looking at the details, it is clear that people in Britain spend just over 170,000 pounds on photographic films, which is the highest figure shown on the chart. Not only this, in the other five categories citizens of Britain spent the highest amount of money than other countries. By contrast, Germans were the lowest overall spenders with roughly some figures were just under 150,000 pounds each of six products.
Focusing on the other nations, both France and Italy spend the same amount of money, at nearly £160,000. Although these figures are the same in the case of toys, French people spent more than Italians on photographic films and cd. In contrast, even though Italian spent less amount of money on toys and films, the figures for personal stereos, tennis racquets and perfumes more than the French.
Overall, the emerging fact from the chart is that British people spent a significantly higher amount of their income than other nations on all consumer goods.
