The charts give information about the different situations in which people individualize a car or use public transportation.
As can be observed, feelings of freedom and independence, as well as enjoyment, is the most popular reason in using a car. Whereas, in the second pie chart, the figure for not coming up a private transport was the highest reason.
It is striking that the proportions of the self-determination and comfort tied at 29% of choosing an answer. Also noteworthy is the fact that 16% more people owning a car because of not spending many times traveling. The percentage of picking up children was quite similar with 18% of the reason. In addition, the smallest figure for having a car was represented by social position.
Another fact worth noticing is that 36% of people traveling public transport because it was too expensive, which was three times as high as that of not enjoying travel by car. Besides, Not passing the driving test account for 25% of five reasons, 5% more than that of detesting being behind the wheel. Another practical reason for using a mode of public transport was its safety and just 7% of people said this.
